28-unit apartment building in West Hartford sells for $4.2M

A West Hartford-based real estate investment group recently paid $4.2 million for a 28-unit apartment building in West Hartford.

In a deed recorded July 31, a limited liability company tied to Hexagon Group acquired the three-story, 1968-vintage apartments at 712 Farmington Ave., near the town’s border with Hartford.

Hexagon financed the purchase in part through a $3.15 million loan from Beacon Bank & Trust, a Massachusetts-chartered bank with a location in Glastonbury.
