25-unit Hartford apartment building fetches nearly $2M

A Spring Valley, New York investor paid $1.99 million for a 25-unit apartment building in Hartford in late April.

Yechiel Cohen, of Spring Valley, is principal of Direct Realty CT LLC, which bought the building at 256 South Marshall St. from Windsor-based Tower One Properties LLC in a sale that was recorded on April 24.

Land records show Tower One bought the roughly 49-year-old, brick apartment building for $910,000 in 2015. Its principals are John Cardone and Thomas Lazure of West Hartford.

The property was listed by Lisa M. Cozzi with Berkshire Hathaway New England Properties.
