The Watermark at East Hill will open Wednesday its $2.1 million assisted living facility on its Southbury campus.
The Villa is a 7,024-square-foot residence at 611 East Hill Road that will care for residents with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other memory-loss ailments, authorities said Friday.
It will employ a “small house” concept and will have only 14 residents at full capacity with a high resident-to-caregiver ratio, providing them with a variety of health, social and related support services.
Owner Watermark Retirement Communities says it has invested more than $10 million since acquiring the Southbury community in 2007.
