Three basketball courts in Hartford’s Keney Park will get resurfaced and refurbished with the help of a $20,000 grant, officials announced.
The grant comes from Walt Disney Co. and the National Recreation and Park Association, which awarded $300,000 in similar grants to 15 parks projects across the country.
The basketball courts were chosen by online voting in April. Other choices included new soccer goals at Colt Park and batting cages.
The project will begin this summer, with an assist from Disney and ESPN volunteers.
