A 204-unit luxury apartment complex adjacent to Batterson Park in Farmington that began leasing in August is nearly a quarter occupied, according to the developers.
The Olmsted Farmington was developed by brothers Niko Koutouvides and Aristides Koutouvides, of Fairfield-based Skala Construction. Construction launched in January 2024 and wrapped up last October, according to a spokesman.Â
Forty-eight apartments so far, according to the spokesman. That translates to 23.5% occupancy.Â
The brothers have completed several projects in the area since launching Skala in 2014.
Niko is a former NFL linebacker, and his brother was a commercial real estate leader with Lehman Brothers before going to work for a New York multifamily developer.
Studio apartments at The Olmsted Farmington begin at $2,265 monthly, one-bedroom units at $2,565, two-bedrooms at $3,425 and three-bedrooms at $4,375.
The development includes amenities including fitness studios, a swimming pool, putting green, great hall, dog spa, dining room, lounge, an outdoor pavilion, community garden and more.Â
