2025 Travelers Championship generates over $4M for charity

Keegan Bradley wasn’t the only winner at the 2025 Travelers Championship held in Cromwell last weekend.

The Travelers Cos. Inc. announced Tuesday that the annual PGA Tour Signature Event generated more than $4 million for over 215 nonprofits, both record highs.

Travelers also set a record this year as the longest-running title sponsor in the tournament’s history. In the 19 years the Hartford-based financial services company has been title sponsor, the Travelers Championship has generated tens of millions of dollars for charity.

The Travelers Championship donates 100% of its net proceeds to nonprofit organizations. The primary beneficiary this year is The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, which provides a traditional summer camp experience for children with serious illnesses.

Other charities — including arts and culture, education, health care, housing, human services, mental health, food insecurity, science and technology, and youth development — also benefit from the event.

“In addition to supporting vital charitable causes, we are proud that the tournament also generates significant economic activity for the state of Connecticut,” said Alan Schnitzer, chairman and CEO of Travelers.

Analysts estimate that the 2025 tournament generated approximately $70 million in local economic activity in Cromwell and surrounding communities.

Bradley, a Vermont native, became a two-time champion of the event on Sunday, when he holed out a birdie putt to finish at 15-under par and win by one stroke. Bradley earned the winner’s share of $3.6 million

The 2026 Travelers Championship is scheduled to be held June 22-28 next year at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.
