A Middletown developer is proposing a 20-court pickleball facility with indoor and outdoor playing areas and amenities.
Lennie Leibenhaut of Tall Properties LLC is seeking approval from the city Planning and Zoning Commission to build the park on the 5.7 acre, vacant parcel at 100 Centerpoint Drive
It would include 12 indoor courts on 42,200 square feet of enclosed playing space, and another eight courts on more than 18,200 square feet of a covered but not enclosed playing area.
The development would total 61,650 square feet and also feature a clubhouse, social area, events space, cold care area and locker rooms.

The application goes to a hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission tonight.
