A New York-based developer is looking to build a multifamily residential complex in South Windsor.
Longleaf Developers LLC, led by principal Howard S. Rappaport, has submitted site plans for the 165-unit Residences at Evergreen Walk project.
The property, owned by Hartford-based Evergreen Walk LLC, consists of 31 acres at 151 Buckland Road, near Smith Street in the Buckland Road Gateway Development Zone.
The project includes 12 residential buildings, ranging from one to four stories, including a clubhouse with a pool, and four new roadways with parking and electric vehicle charging stations.
Nearly 13% or 21 units, will be deemed affordable, with 13 two-bedrooms and eight one-bedroom units.
The development team includes engineering and surveying by Cromwell-based James P. Cassidy, architects Steven Mast of Philadelphia, and attorneys Alter & Pearson LLC of Glastonbury.
