Hartford’s Riverwalk South and Gateway projects have won a $1.5 million state grant to complete the final piece of a three-mile loop of walking trails between Founders Bridge and Charter Oak Bridge, state officials announced.
The State Bond Commission will vote Friday to approve the funds, which would improve the Riverfront’s gravel walkway.
Plans call for a new entrance to the area linking the historic Coltsville and Sheldon Charter Oaks neighborhoods.
