13 UPS drivers in CT honored for 25 years accident free

A baker’s dozen of elite drivers in Connecticut were honored by UPS for driving 25 years for the company without an accident.

They were inducted into the Circle of Honor, an honorary organization for UPS drivers who achieved a quarter-century or more of accident-free driving. Connecticut has 116 active Circle of Honor drivers with a combined 3,281 years of accident-free driving. Walter Beasley of Woodbridge is the state’s senior-most safe driver, with 43 years under his belt. There are 1,593 total UPS drivers in Connecticut.

Globally, the most seasoned UPS Circle of Honor driver is Thomas Camp of Livonia, Mich., with 53 years of driving without an accident. Ronald McKnight of Bronx, N.Y., is next in line with 47 years of safe driving. Sixty-six others have logged at least 40 years without an accident.
