10th Anniversary celebration for beacon

BEACON celebrated its 10th anniversary with a ribbon cutting at a reception at Hartford Hospital on May 12. Cutting the ribbon is Joseph Bronzino, president and founder. Joining him are BEACON’s directors, from left: Dr. Laurine Bow, vice president of research at Hartford Hospital; Walter Simmers of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP; Keith Parent, CEO, Court Square Group; Roger Lavallee; James Fasi, vice president of Investments at UBS Financial Services; Larry Acquarulo, co-CEO, PolyMedex Discovery Group; Jim Ohneck, marketing director, Valtronic Technologies; Donna Moats of Smith & Nephew and Donald Peterson, co-executive director of BEACON and a UConn faculty members.
