A 10-unit apartment building in New Britain recently sold for $1 million.
In a sale recorded Jan. 9 by the town, 56 Wilcox LLC sold the 6,400-square-foot, brick apartment building on nearly one-third of an acre at 56 Wilcox St., to Robert and Beata Jaworski. The building dates back to 1969, according to assessing records.
The principal of the selling LLC is Tyler Smith, of Shelton. His LLC paid $650,000 for the property in May 2021, according to assessing records.
The city assessor places the property’s 2021 market value at $403,100.Â
