The 40 Under Forty Awards, presented by Hoffman Auto Group and PeoplesBank, recognize outstanding young professionals throughout Connecticut that are excelling in their industries.

These awards recognize Leadership, Entrepreneur-ism, and Community in their recipients. The honorees of these awards are driven by success, motivated by challenges, are actively involved in the community, and are role models for their peers.

They will be recognized in a special issue of the Hartford Business Journal as well as at a well attended awards dinner.

Nominations

Nominations for 2026 are currently closed.
Nominees who make it to the next stage will be notified mid/late June.
Nominations for 2027 will be available in a few months.

Event Details

Honorees will be announced in our August 10 Issue, both online and in print, and will be celebrated at an awards event on Thursday September 17, 2026. Stay tuned for tickets!
