This panel will be discussing the best accounting practices for CT Cannabis business in a federally illegal market, along with a review and discussion of the SAFE Banking Act. Robert Lickwar is a Managing Tax Director at UHY Advisors, Inc. Robert has more than thirty years of experience as a practicing CPA. Robert is also a leader of the Northeast Cannabis practice and provides a wide range of cannabis accounting services such as tax planning and tax return preparation.

Melissa Maranda is the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Lighthouse Biz Solutions, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of GFA Federal Credit Union, formed to serve the legal cannabis industry. Melissa is regarded as an innovative industry leader and an engaged member of the community, having served as a director to many non-profit organizations. Formerly, Jeanne was a General Partner and co-founder of a NYC-based venture capital fund with $400 million under management.

Michael Goodenough is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of D&G Agtek. Michael has been an advocate of the hemp agricultural industry in Connecticut and across the country and through his love of technology and agriculture he has built a team and company around three integral parts of the emerging east coast hempire.

Peter Su is a Senior Vice President with Green Check Verified. A long time banker, Peter has spent 20+ years in finance with stops at HSBC, Signature, Dime and East West.
